TV highlights: Men’s short program figure skating and a plot twist on ‘Idol’

Tonight’s “XXII Winter Olympics” (NBC at 8) coverage includes men’s short program figure skating with Jeremy Abbott as a U.S. favorite, women’s skeleton, women’s speedskating finals and men’s freestyle skiing.

“The Taste” (ABC at 8) is searching for the best bar fare when the six remaining chefs are asked to prepare meals that feature beer and food that goes nicely with it.


After Ben gets news of a death in the family, Keegan’s forced to take over a case involving cannablism on “Rake” (Fox at 9) when the mayor’s chief economic adviser is accused of murdering and literally eating a young accountant.


“Project Runway: Under the Gunn” (Lifetime at 9) looks to music for its main inspiration when the designers are asked to come up with concert wear for pop star Zendaya.


In case you missed it the first time around, this repeat episode of “Elementary” (CBS at 10) has Holmes involved with the Polish mob while Watson helps a friend track down a mystery man who supposedly swept her off her feet.


For your daily dose of trailer park high drama, “Welcome to Myrtle Manor” (TLC at 10) has the mystery of the vanishing Silver Bullet trailer, which a rival park appears to be behind, and, in that case, the manor must enact a vicious plan of revenge.


SERIES PREMIERE: Four of the best tattoo artists from around the country will face off against one another on “Tattoo Titans” (CMT at 11), a reality competition designed to push them to their artistic limits.


Actor Bill Murray stops by the “Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35), with musical guest Eagulls.


Comedian Kevin Hart and actor Alex Pettyfer are on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (ABC at 11:35), with a musical performance from Sage the Gemini.
