Slushy snow conditions on the halfpipe have led to a string of falls in the event’s finals, including wipeouts from all three American finalists as the United States finishes out of the medals.
Shaun White fell twice in his first run and faltered again in his second.
The Americans weren’t the only victims of the slushy snow, Japanese snowboarder Taku Hiraoka also took a nasty tumble.
