Snowboarders struggle to stay on their feet in halfpipe finals

Slushy snow conditions on the halfpipe have led to a string of falls in the event’s finals, including wipeouts from all three American finalists as the United States finishes out of the medals.

The Americans weren’t the only victims of the slushy snow, Japanese snowboarder Taku Hiraoka also took a nasty tumble.
