It’s that time in the Olympics when there are fewer events, although there are some biggies. Today it’s the men’s hockey semifinals, the women’s slalom, the curling gold medal match and lots of skating, both long and short track.

However, none of that happened while you were sleeping, you lucky duck. In fact, almost nothing happened.

Well, there was the women’s freestyle ski cross. After some early fog, Canada’s Marielle Thompson and Kelsey Serwa took gold and silver. The bronze went to Anna Holmund of Sweden. No Americans competed in this event.

Oh, there was also the bronze medal curling match. Sweden won in extra ends.

I can’t believe I got up at 3:30 for this.
